About Envirohub Marlborough
Envirohub Marlborough opened its doors in October 2017 with an aim to unite and support youth, families and individuals in Marlborough by providing a community facility that will assist them to reach their conservation goals more efficiently.
Come and visit our new premises at 14 Auckland Street in Picton! We are lucky enough to be sharing this great space with two fantastic organisations: Kaipupu Point Wildlife Sanctuary and Picton Dawn Chorus (check out their websites or visit them on Facebook).
The aim of our new premises is to provide a central point for information about upcoming events, workshops and local initiatives as well as a base for our environmentally-friendly retail products.
We are open Monday to Friday from 9am - 3pm.
Envirohub Marlbrough contributes to the conservation and restoration of the Marlborough environment by coordinating and connecting youth and families with more environmental and educational opportunities.
Although the hub has been initially focused on youth, families and individuals, the long term plan is to extend this focus to encourage visitors to the region, and the wider community, to get more involved. Picton has a growing reputation as a leader in New Zealand conservation and the hub will enhance this by facilitating free or low cost volunteer experiences.
Where are we?
Envirohub Marlborough is now located at 14 Auckland Street, Picton. We are situated in the lower level of the Port Marlborough building next door to the Department of Conservation and the Laundry.
