CKNZ - Hamupēke | Humpback Whale Day

Come join in the fun at this year's CKNZ Whale Day! 

This year for whale day we are learning all about Hamupēke (Humpback whales)!

Our Whale Day event is open to all ages and is a family event. 

Come along and take part in some fun games and crafts and learn all about one of our taonga of the seas: the Humpback Whale!

Picton Library, 2 Dublin Street (off-street FREE parking is located behind the Library, accessible from High or Auckland Street. Not to be confused with the paid parking on the corner of Auckland and Dublin Streets).

We will have a guest speaker to teach us all about the hamupēke, get stuck into some arts and crafts and fun games all about the humpbacks! Weather permitting, we will finish out on the Picton Foreshore.

All tamariki who attend will also get the chance to be crowned our Hamupēke Species Superstar!!
