CKNZ - Tohorā | Southern Right Whale Day

Come join in the fun at this year's CKNZ Whale Day! 

This year for whale day we are learning all about Tohorā (Southern Right Whales)!

Our Whale Day event is open to all and is a family event. 

The  content is most suited to ages 5 - 12 year olds.

Come along and take part in some fun games and crafts and learn all about one of our taonga of the seas: the Southern Right Whale!

Event 10am - 12:00noon

FREE EVENT - The venue has limited capacity so REGISTERING IS ESSENTIAL.

We will have a guest speaker to teach us all about the tohorā, get stuck into some arts and crafts and fun games all about the Southern Rights! Weather permitting, we will finish out on the beach at Rarangi.

All tamariki who attend will also get the chance to be crowned our Tohorā Species Superstar!!
