Join Conservation Kids NZ cleaning up the Anakiwa and Davies Bay Foreshore. Join us for a foreshore clean-up then stay for a picnic dinner, twilight swim and a chat.

Join the Conservation Kids NZ for a foreshore clean-up to help celebrate Seaweek, then stay for a picnic dinner, twilight swim, and a chat. Everyone to meet at the Anakiwa Foreshore by the Jetty at 5.30pm. After an initial welcome and safety briefing, we will head off to cover different areas, younger families can stay and clean up the Anakiwa Foreshore area.
Older kids and families can walk the 5km, 35min track to Davie's bay and back to clean up the foreshores along the way. Gathering back at the jetty at about 7pm for a chat and a BYO Picnic dinner, feel free to stick around for a twilight swim aswell.
A few spot prizes will also be drawn at this time so stick around to be in to win!
For families wanting to walk the track to Davie's bay, please be aware each child will have to be joined by an adult the whole way. Please wear solid footwear, bring gardening gloves, sunscreen, and water. The Massive Marlborough Clean-Up is an annual multi group/multi location campaign which aims to clean up our beaches, protect our oceans and meet other awesome people.
