We had a lot of fun one night building weta motels as a group to hang up at the Pelorus Bridge Scenic reserve. The kids all got in to groups and helped out making Weta motels, the finished product looked amazing.
Then we bundled up and went for a walk to have a look up in the Weta tree in the dark to see if we could spot some Cave wetas. What a fantastic night.
